The WPL305 from Wasp is the latest in a line of high-quality desktop printers. The WPL305 creates barcode labels at a rate of 5 inches per second at 203dpi. When it appears in the pairing list, click Wasp Barcode (or “Wasp Bar”) Bluetooth Keyboard, then Next (or double-click it). If you get a prompt about entering a pairing code or Pin, go to Step 9 on the next page. (Note: Scanners with newer firmware versions may pair without prompting for a Pin. This is normal.) 7.
Manual Setup
Install the printer using the CD-ROM.
2. Hold down the ready button and turn on the printer.
3. While still holding the button wait for the light to flash green. When the light flashes green turn the printer off and back on again; all while still holding down the ready button.
4. Wait for the light to flash green again and then finally release the button.
5. In your computer settings under the printer’s printing preferences, under the page setup tab, add a new stock. (If you already have the proper label settings set, just select it from the drop down list and click ok; the next step can be skipped.)
6. Enter a name and set the label sizing to have a width and height which equals your current label stock (see label stock specs for size details). The exposed liner width can be left to the default (1.02mm).
7. Under the graphics tab select a resolution of “8.0dpmm x 8.0dpmm”, set the dithering to “none” and color control to “monochrome”.
8. Click Ok to finish.

You can try to reinitialize your printer calibration and settings as per the instructions below.
After you complete the steps below try to print a barcode, if the issue continues please submit a ticket describing the issue in details and the steps to reproduce it.
Power on Utilities
There are three power-on utilities to set up and test printer hardware.
Printer initialization
Ribbon sensor calibration
Gap or black mark sensor calibration
Note: You must run the #2 and #3 utilities after running the #1 to properly setup the printer.
1. Initialization
Printer initialization is used to clear DRAM and restore printer settings to factory defaults. The only one exception is ribbon sensitivity, which will not be restored to default.
Turn the printer power off.
Press and hold the FEED button and then turn on the printer.
The LED will turn orange, blink red 5 times, blink orange 5 times and then blink green 5 times. Release after the first green light blink.
Printer configuration will be restored to defaults as below after initialization.
WARNING: This will reset all saved settings in the printer.
2. Ribbon Sensor Calibration
Note: Please make sure the ribbon is properly installed before doing this calibration.
Please follow the steps below to calibrate the ribbon sensor.
Turn the printer power off.
Press and hold the FEED button then turn on the printer.
The LED will turn orange then blink red 5 times. Release after the 1st red blink and before the 5th .
If the ribbon is properly installed the light will turn green. If it is not it will turn red and blink.
3 Gap/Black Mark Calibration
Gap/black mark sensor sensitivity should be calibrated at the following conditions:
A brand new printer
Change label stock
Printer initialization
Please follow the steps below to calibrate the sensor.
Turn the printer power off.
Press and hold the FEED butt on then turn on the printer.
The LED will turn orange, blink red 5 times and then blink orange 5 times. Release after the 1st orange blink and before the 5th orange blink.
Calibrating the gap/black mark sensor will measure the label length, print the internal configuration and then enter dump mode. The self-test printout can be used to check for dot damage on the print head
and can be used to check printer configurations and available memory space.
*Turn the printer off and back on to resume normal printing. *
